BICESTER GATEWAY RETAIL PARK TO BE REFUSED

The KRA are very disappointed to hear the proposed retail park to include M&S and Next is to be refused planning permission at the Planning Meeting this Thursday 6 August. Given the strong support for it that everyone showed on the post of the 5th July we urge you to send an email to the Council Leaders, Town Councillors and Planning Officers in support of the Retail Park.

Dear Council Leader, Councillors and planning officers

As a Kingsmere resident I am very disappointed to hear the planning application for the Bicester Gateway/Oxford Road Retail Development is being recommended for refusal.

I completely support the development, am disappointed you have not consulted us as the nearest neighbours and do not agree with some of your concerns about the location of the site and the impact on traffic.

I implore you to approve the development to avoid running the risk of losing such important mainstream (i.e. not designer) retailers to the Town in terms of the economy and employment.
