Kingsmere Residents’ Association is bring Culture and Events to your Door Step

Hello we would love to take this take this opportunity to say hello and say how super excited we are to joined the KRA team. We have recently joint and are focused on Community, Culture and Events.

Kev: I’m Kev, aka Kevlar, and I moved to Kingsmere about two and half years ago. A lot my time was initially spent in London for work. However, when COVID-19 hit that changed and working from home has given me the opportunity to be more active in our community. I got involved with the KRA through the now famous Kingsmere Christmas tree (there are already plans afoot to have one again this year) and also through being part of Kingsmere Community Ministry (KCM). I have a heart for people and really want to serve my community. Kingsmere has become home and I can think of no better way than to show that by being part of the KRA & KCM.

We have seen Kingsmere develop rapidly over the past few years – from the inception of the KRA, having a sports ground, to the local Co-Op and Dominos! The KRA is excited to  help us has a community explore and promote the rich cultural diversity on the estate.

We are very keen for you to get in contact and have lots of input from the wide and diverse community that is Kingsmere.  we want to bring the rich culture and diversity that is Kingsmere to everyone on the estate. We might be a new estate and village but we are ready to put Kingsmere on the map!!!

We would love to hear from you if you have ideas of an event that we could take forward on behalf of the community, or if would like to be involved. We look forward to celebrating the rich cultures that make up our estate.

Let’s make Kingsmere the biggest thing in Bicester. Let’s do community together!!!
