Kingsmere Residents'
Association (KRA)
About Us
The KRA was set up in 2014 to support residents in getting broadband installed on the estate. A group of Residents banded together to represent the estate on behalf of all the residents as British Telecom would only deal with a recognised, authorised body and not individuals.
From then, the estate and the KRA have gone from strength to strength with an aim to help and support all residents with common issues to have a voice. We are all residents who volunteer our time to help build and improve the community in which we live.
Some of the KRA’s most notable achievements have been:
- Broadband Installation
- Post box installation
- Pedestrians Crossing installation on MSR
- Community Christmas Tree in the local centre
- Community Litter picks
- Community Speedwatch
We work closely with all agencies, organisation and groups that have an interest in the Kingsmere estate from Countryside Properties Ltd and local government agencies to Kingsmere Front Runner and Kingsmere Community Ministry (KCM) and all those in between.
Our aims are:
- To promote community cohesion and inclusion within Kingsmere and the wider community.
- To represent the interests of the residents in dealings with the local authorities and the Development Companies on the estate.
If you would like our help and support with an issue or would like to help support your neighbours and the wider Kingsmere community by getting involved, please get in touch using the Contact Us page.
